Version One in the running to be three time winner of Software Satisfaction Awards

Version One is a finalist in the Paperless Office & Document Management category of the Software Satisfaction Awards 2011 (SSA11) for the fifth consecutive year. The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony, compered by Alistair Campbell, on Tuesday 18 October 2011 at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square. Version One is aiming to become a three-time winner of the Software Satisfaction Awards, having previously won the Paperless Office accolade in 2007 and 2010.

The Software Satisfaction Awards are run by Sift Media in collaboration with Intellect, the UK’s largest technology association. These awards recognise high standards from software application providers serving UK businesses and are based on the views of genuine end-users. Over 10,000 software users voted in the SSA11, an increase of over 3,000 users compared with 2010, underlining the Awards’ increasing significance within the software industry.

Julian Buck, Managing Director of Version One, says, “These prestigious awards demonstrate end users’ confidence in our software portfolio and reinforces the hard work and customer focus of the Version One team. Making the shortlist for the fifth year running in a very competitive document management marketplace is an excellent achievement and we hope to retain our title as the paperless office champion.”

Buck adds, “We will continue to invest in our leading end-to-end document management solutions to enable our customers to further improve efficiencies, cut costs and gain a rapid return-on-investment.”

Version One’s portfolio of document management and imaging solutions enable the electronic creation, storage, retrieval, management, delivery and authorisation of business documents. By using Version One’s systems integrated into their accounting/ERP systems, businesses significantly reduce their paper consumption, cutting costs and improving process efficiencies whilst freeing-up storage space.
