Salesforce.com customer relationship management (CRM) users are being offered the opportunity to improve their document management and store unlimited files and documents on the Amazon cloud platform.
S-Drive, the new addition to the Salesforce.com AppExchange marketplace, allows CRM users to store and share an unlimited amount of content over Amazon's storage cloud.
Salesforce.com’s professional and enterprise edition customers are being offered S-Drive. The application has been developed by CyanGate and comes with the Adobe Flex rich user interface.
S-Drive allows firms to store and share their sales and marketing information, product documentation, customer documents and any type of media files.
S-Drive also enables firms to allow their customers to upload and download case files, product updates and documentation directly from Salesforce.com’s customer portal without file size and storage limitations.
To use S-Drive, companies need to sign up for a single company account from AppExchange.
