HP revamps printing and imaging division for improved digital document support
HP has revamped its printing and imaging business to better support firms wanting to improve their digital document management.
Vyomesh Joshi, executive vice president for the HP Imaging and Printing Group, said, “HP is helping customers strategically evaluate the role imaging and printing plays in the IT conversation, signaling a new approach to managing printable content as enterprise customers embark on the transformation from paper-based to digital processes.”
Among a number of HP announcements from it imaging and printing division this week, there is HP’s largest ever rollout of workflow solutions.
This includes offerings for the public sector like HP Social Services Case Processing Accelerator, HP Courts Case Processing Accelerator, HP Records Processing Solution for Law Enforcement, and HP Electronic Workflow and Document Management Solution for Education.
For other sectors there is HP Automotive Credit Application Accelerator; HP Manufacturing Time Sheet Collection Accelerator; HP Account Opening Accelerator for Communications, Media and Entertainment; and HP Insurance Claims Transformation.
And with more than 250 enhancements, HP said its relaunched Exstream 7.0 document automation technology for enterprises significantly reduces document development time and production costs.
HP has also signed partnership deals to launch the HP and Pharos Blueprint Enterprise Printing Security and Job Accounting Solution, and the HP and EPSoft Imaging and Printing Solutions range.
