Kodak has completed its previously announced acquisition of the BÖWE BELL + HOWELL document scanner division
BÖWE BELL + HOWELL is a major supplier of document scanners to value-added resellers, systems integrators and end users worldwide.
The scanner division will become part of Kodak’s Document Imaging Business, within the Business Solutions and Services Group. Around 50 BÖWE BELL + HOWELL employees have joined Kodak as a result of the acquisition.
Dolores Kruchten, general manager at the Kodak Business Solutions and Services Group, said, "This acquisition will provide end users with exciting and broad choices in document capture products.
"Completing this acquisition further demonstrates Kodak’s commitment to end-user customers, channel and software partners, and the document management industry."
It has not been revealed how much Kodak paid for the BÖWE BELL + HOWELL division.
The BÖWE BELL + HOWELL document scanner range acquired includes the newly announced Ngenuity range, the established Spectrum XF range, and theTrūper offering, among others.
