Kodak reviews future of BÖWE BELL + HOWELL scanner products after acquisition

Kodak says it is reviewing the future of BÖWE BELL + HOWELL scanner products after completing the acquisition of that scanner division.

"Our goal with this acquisition is to grow our new, integrated business by providing you with even greater value and choice through an expanded product and solutions portfolio," said Tony Barbeau, general manager of document imaging at Kodak.

Over the next several months, said Barbeau, a number of BÖWE BELL + HOWELL products, including Ngenuity, Truper and Sidekick will be badged as Kodak products. He said it was Kodak's intention to continue with these scanner product lines "for years to come".

Decisions on the other product lines however "are pending", said Barbeau.
