US law firm Higgs Fletcher & Mack LLP has selected Oce Business Services to provide a comprehensive range of mail and print/copy centre management services to reduce costs.

Founded in 1939, Higgs is one of the oldest and largest full service law firms located in San Diego. Under a three-year agreement, Oce will help streamline the law firm's document management processes, including a migration from desktop printers to shared, networked multi-function-devices that combine print, copy, scan and fax capabilities into one machine.

"We selected Oce Business Services to reduce costs while increasing document process efficiency," said Dave Whitson, executive director at Higgs Fletcher & Mack. "Partnering with Oce supports this commitment by improving the speed and efficiency of our document management processes, and also extends our ability to help our clients succeed."

The new Oce agreement replaced a previous 27-year relationship with another supplier. Whitson said the new deal has already saved the firm thousands of dollars in its mail and print/copy operations.
