Goodmail Systems, the creator of "trusted email" service CertifiedEmail, has joined forces with secure document delivery firm Striata to offer utilities and other firms a quicker way to get paid by customers via email.
The partners are offering the CertifiedEmail SecureDoc package, which enables firms to reliably deliver sensitive documents, such as bills and statements, as a securely encrypted email attachment. It also allows consumers to complete transactions, such as paying a bill, directly from within the email or attachment itself, with just one click, said the firms.
For financial institutions, phone and utility companies, charities and any organisation with a large accounts receivable department, CertifiedEmail SecureDoc is designed to offer a fast, efficient and green billing method with guaranteed delivery. This results in lower operational costs, potentially higher customer satisfaction and faster payments, and new marketing opportunities for the sender.
“The combination of Striata and Goodmail has resulted in a convenient, highly reliable, secure, and easy-to-use document delivery and payment solution driving significant paper suppression adoption and faster electronic payment,” said Mary Byrne, vice president of compliance products at Goodmail.
