International commercial law firm Hammonds has chosen the Autonomy iManage platform to improve its document management and ensure compliance.
As part of the deal, Hammonds is using iManage Universal Search, the iManage WorkSite document management software, and productivity and compliance package iManage Workflow Manager.
Russell Firth, CIO at Hammonds, said, "We are constantly striving to boost collaboration and enhance productivity in order to improve client service and derive the highest value from each billable hour."
Firth said Autonomy iManage's end-to-end, meaning-based platform and scalability made it a "strategic investment that we will be able to develop in the future, by adding functionalities and modules as and when the need arises".
Autonomy iManage's information management technology uses the the meaning-based Intelligent Data Operating Layer (IDOL) system. Autonomy's IDOL forms an understanding of all data in the enterprise, including formats such as web pages, emails, voice and video.
