MasterFile Software has launched a "$2 per day" hosted document e-discovery system for smaller sized legal practices.
The hosted service delivers integrated case analysis, an evidence repository, document management and an e-discovery platform, with firms not requiring IT staff or having to manage servers.
"At just $2 per day per user, and no per case or evidence loading fees, MasterFile Hosted Services (MFHS) has the best price/performance in the industry and puts the smaller practice on par with larger firms," said Zainul Ebrahim, vice president of business development at MasterFile.
MasterFile said its system also offered full mobility for users, both off-line and on-line. "Since MasterFile keeps all case material in one place and looks and functions exactly the same online or offline, users can work wherever they are, even on a plane," said Ebrahim.
"When back online, they synchronise everything in all their cases via a secure, encrypted channel with one click," he said.
