Landauer-Metropolitan, a major US provider of home medical equipment, is deploying Authentidate's electronic care order processing platform to streamline business processes.
Landauer-Metropolitan is implementing Authentidate's web-based Inscrybe Healthcare ordering system. "Inscrybe's ability to integrate multiple billing and practice management systems into a unified solution that reinforces best practices is important for our business," said Louis Rocco, CEO at Landauer-Metropolitan.
Rocco said the new system supported the US drive towards electronic health records. Inscrybe Healthcare supports information exchanges with referring physicians, for all types of healthcare transactions required for the authorisation of home medical equipment and supplies for patients.
The web-based service automates manual workflow processes and efficiently tracks the status of those communications, reducing the time it takes to obtain completed healthcare documentation from referring physicians. The streamlined workflows are designed to improve the efficiency of clinical and administrative processes, and reduce operating expenses and uncollected revenues.
"Landauer's decision to implement Inscrybe provides evidence that the time is right for large scale adoption of homecare e-documents," said Paul Skinner, vice president of sales and customer support at Authentidate.
