BMW Middle East has improved its document management processes by signing a technology services deal with Solutions Middle East.
Solutions Middle East has deployed the ViewWise document management system from Computhink to manage BMW's compliance efforts for legal records, improve its data security and document accessibility, as well as decrease paper usage.
BMW Middle East needed the system to comply with a legal regulation of retaining all customer transactions for a minimum of seven years. It also had to improve document accessibility when retrieving old documents for reference, and tackle the problem of outgrowing its office space for document storage.
ViewWise was integrated into BMW's existing IT infrastructure. BMW said it has streamlined the firm's business processes, improved customer service, ensured compliance, and has reduced overall operations costs. The system has also supported a paperless office strategy.
