SIGNiX takes document e-signature system to channel

SIGNiX is to sell its enterprise document e-signature technology through channel partners.

Up to now, it has sold its fledgling e-signature system direct to governmental, legal and financial markets. The SIGNiX system allows important electronic documents to be securely signed off by recipients over the web, without the sender having to post them or use a courier service.

The patented system is designed to be compliant with the demands of statutory bodies, and does not require any recipient to provide a pen and ink signature to complete financial transactions. Users of the system first have to register via a web or call centre session..

The SIGNiX technology is sold using the on-demand software-as-a-service ( SaaS) model and requires no hardware or software downloads.

SIGNiX says ten of the top fifty largest financial institutions in the US are already using the system.
