Active Data Services (www.activedataservices.com) has been acquired by Diversified Information Technologies, which will use Active to expand its US market base in document-related business process outsourcing.
Diversified (www.diversifiedweb.com) is involved in integrated records management, electronic mailroom processing services and workflow automation. “Through this strategic acquisition Diversified is expanding its footprint in the healthcare industry, and is introducing new and expanded services to the market,” said Diversified CEO Scott Byers.
Ken Eller, ADS CEO, said, “Our companies’ combined strengths will position Diversified as a significant provider in the outsourced information management services field.”
ADS provides services that facilitate the transition to electronic medical records (EMR) in the healthcare industry, and the firm has a firm base in the south-east region of the US, an expanding market Diversified wanted to tap into.
