iRemoteScan allows iPad and iPhone users to remotely operate networked scanners to retrieve documents

RemoteScan has released iRemoteScan for the Apple iPad and iPhone.

With iRemoteScan, Apple users can remotely operate networked scanners which are connected to PCs and workstations. With the system documents can be scanned directly into iPads or iPhones from any standard document scanner.

The scanned documents can then easily be imported into other apps or document software. They can also be emailed directly from an iPad or iPhone to anyone, anywhere.

The iRemoteScan system requires an official copy of RemoteScan server software, but the client app is free and can be found on Apple iTunes.

RemoteScan is widely used in the medical sector for the distribution of medical records and other documents. Financial management providers also sell the system.
